Short update for 2025 so far:
- Currently taking a Google UX Design Professional Certificate course on Coursera. They had an amazing offer for Coursera Plus, and I’ve been eying this course for about a year. Pulled the trigger finally. Hopefully will able to complete all seven modules and try some other courses in Design Thinking, etc.
- Trying to learn Singapore Sign Language. There’s a mute guy in my neighborhood and I’ve known him for years. We always communicate in a mish-mash of hand signals. We took in a stray cat he used to look after in the area, and she adopted us until she passed away a few years ago. Figured I should actually learn SSL for real. I can’t make it for the online classes due to my caregiving schedule so I’m trying to do so online. Found a very good link you can also check out below.
